About Me

Artist Statement

I explore nature's vastness, movement, and distinguished beauty. These elements emit an aesthetic sensation of harmony, the illusion of timelessness, and feelings of inspiration, that transcend the typical dimensions of earth, space, and time. The imagery of my work does not accurately represent nature; rather, I try to unveil an abstraction of its character, capturing some of its infinite variations of ethereal beauty.

I am a 44 year old multimedia artist who has traveled the world and and have recently returned to my east coast roots. I grew up in NJ and attended the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh as well as the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where i got my BFA in 1995, majoring in sculpture.  I started professionally tattooing in 1994 in Philly and have since lived and worked in San Francisco, Zurich Switzerland, amd now Boston. I owned Seventh Son Tattoo in SF from 2005-2014. I currently work at Regeneration Tattoo in Allston and by appointment at The Torchbearer in Pawtucket.  In addition to tattooing I've mostly been working in charcoal, acrylic, and watercolor. I have yet to return to sculpture with the intention to do so....one of these days...

About Me

I enjoy photgraphy having picked up my husband's 35 MM Camera to photgraph some wild turkeys stroling through our yard in Vermont  in 1989, I haven't stopped since.  In 2003 I  transitioned to digital.   I belong to the local "OLLI" group at UMass Boston and I've enjoyed stuggling through classes in Watercolor with Dan McCole and at OLLI with Helena Zubin.
