About Me

Hello SBAA,

I've been painting in oils for about 30 years; although largely self taught, my first art instructor was Anet Pagleriani who taught me the "basics" of oil painting. Since that time I've studied with New York Artist Greg Kreutz at the Scottsdale School in Arizona and Sam Vokey here in Boston.

When I'm not painting, I'm writing. My first novel, "Whom Evil Touches" is a murder mystery and due for release in August.

I hold a B.A. in Communications from Eastern Nazarene College and a nursing license from Quincy College.

About Me

From a family of artists, born in Provence, France, now living in New England, Sanya (Sandrine Colson-Inam) specializes in clay sculptures, watercolors, oil and acrylics with occasional mixed media, jewelry, knitting and ceramic work.  Sanya spends a large part of her summers with her family in France, browsing art markets and enjoying the unique light and colors of Provence. She also visits regularly Paris, France and the South-western part of France: “Midi-Pyrenees”. After a temporary break from being actively involved in arts and crafts, Sanya is now fully committed to be an active part of various arts and crafts organizations or communities and let her passion for arts show.

"When I look around me and see more than people, the world, beauty, colors, light and emotions, then, I know it is time to express what I see and feel through art." Sanya

About Me

Consider myself self taught/pseudo naive with a few classes in color interpretation thrown in for fun. Elizabeth Grady graduate for make up.

To label my genre of work would fall into the category of "POP". Roy Lichtenstein I worship. Paint is my thing. I work in mostly acrylics but will use anything that will stain canvas or paper (beet juice and red wine work extremely well). Hey, That's what they did in Cleopatras' time. My work is generally on a very large scale.

A normal painting can range from 20-40 feet wide. With that being said I do an initial drawing for large venues (nightclubs etc.), paint the mural, then 400 to 1000 people a night see my work. Way more than a gallery show. Then put the work on canvas. At that point I can sell a canvas.

I'm not big on galleries, I just find them pretentious plus the anxiety that goes with an opening. Ikes.

So I don't do things conventionally but it kinda works for me. Vinny
